More About 18 Passenger Minibuses
Get a real look at what an 18 passenger minibus can do for your Portland group trip before you book. These compact yet surprisingly spacious vehicles sit right in the sweet spot between a standard SUV and a full-size 56-passenger charter bus, big enough to keep your whole group together, nimble enough to navigate Portland's inner-city streets, the Hawthorne District, and the tight turns around the Pearl District without breaking a sweat. Whether you're coordinating a wedding guest shuttle between venues, moving a corporate team between the Oregon Convention Center and downtown hotels, or running a field trip to the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI, 1945 SE Water Ave, Portland, OR 97214), an 18 passenger minibus gives your group a private, comfortable ride.
At OMSI, school buses can drop students in front of the museum, then park in bus cut-outs by the North or South lot or in the South lot bus-parking area, giving school groups one arrival point before their visit. Because Coachbusportland.com connects you with a large network of independently owned bus companies, you get TONS of different minibus options and TONS of packages — not just whatever one provider happens to have sitting in their lot.

What’s Typically Included on 18 Passenger Minibus Rentals
Fill out one quick form and you'll quickly see why so many groups choose minibus rentals in Portland over splitting into separate cars. These vehicles come loaded with the kind of comfort features that actually make a difference on your trip. Expect air conditioning and full climate control to keep everyone comfortable through a rainy Portland winter or a warm summer run out to Multnomah Falls (Historic Columbia River Highway, Bridal Veil, OR 97010).
High-back reclining seats, available in leather or cloth depending on the model, give every passenger real legroom for the ride. Overhead compartments handle carry-ons and smaller personal items, while the rear luggage area fits roller bags and duffels so nobody has to hold their bag the whole trip. Power outlets and USB charging ports keep phones and devices topped off.
Flat-screen monitors with DVD or HDMI input, a PA system with a wireless microphone, and a Bluetooth and AUX stereo let you play your own music and keep the group entertained. How much is an 18 Passenger Minibus rental?
It just got easier to figure out exactly what a Portland 18 passenger minibus rental will run you. Pricing through the network typically ranges from $190 to $330+ per hour, $1,210 to $1,990+ per day, and $5.00 to $7.25+ per mile, but your exact quote depends on the specific vehicle, your travel date, how long you need the bus, and where you're headed. A quick airport shuttle from Portland International Airport (PDX, 7000 NE Airport Way, Portland, OR 97218) to a hotel downtown will land at a very different price point than a full-day wine tour through the Willamette Valley or a multi-stop private event shuttle around Portland.
At PDX, shuttle and bus pickups are on the lower roadway outside baggage claim, giving your group a shared airport meeting point. The fastest way to see numbers for your specific trip is to fill out one quick form right on this website — you'll instantly compare 18 passenger minibus pricing, photos, and packages from a large network of independently owned bus companies serving Portland, all without creating an account.
